On August 12, the Ravens kicked their NFL preseason off with a 17-12 win over the Panthers in Baltimore at the M&T Bank Stadium.
Ravens starters didn’t play over a quarter during the game. However the time that they did see teased the fans in terms of what they could expect once the regular season starts.
A majority of NFL experts expect that the Raven will be displaying an explosive offense following the addition of several weapons during the off season. During the opener, Baltimore came through. Joe Flacco, third year quarterback, went 8 out of 12 passing for a total of 120 yards and throwing one touchdown in just over one quarter of playing time.
